Plymouth Meeting, Pa. -- Creighton Baseball suffered a 13-6 defeat in a road contest at Villanova on Saturday, April 20.
The loss moved Creighton to 28-8 on the season and 4-4 in BIG EAST action, while Villanova moved to 13-23 overall and 4-7 in conference play.
Creighton starter took the loss (1-1) for the Bluejays, allowing three runs on two hits and three walks in one inning. Villanova starter Luke McCollough earned the win (4-2), limiting Creighton to six runs on five hits over 6.1 innings.
VIllanova took advantage of some Bluejay wildness on the mound as the Wildcats jumped out to a 9-0 lead with three runs in the first and six in the second, getting five free base runners via the walk.
