Omaha, Neb. -- Battling through several delays caused by weather, Creighton Baseball dropped a 4-3 decision to Georgetown on Sunday, April 28 in the second game of the series. The third game was canceled.
Creighton fell to 30-11 on the season and 4-7 in BIG EAST action with the loss, while Georgetown moved to 29-13 overall and 10-4 in conference play.
The Bluejays got out to a 1-0 lead as and singled to put runners at the corners, then delivered a sac fly to make it 1-0.
Georgetown answered with three runs in the sixth, taking advantage of a couple of defensive mishaps.
