Wichita, Kan. -- Opening up a four-game road trip through Kansas and Ohio, the Bluejay Baseball team dropped a 7-3 decision on Tuesday, May 10.
The loss dropped the Bluejays to 32-11 on the season, while Wichita State moved to 18-31.
Senior Brett Murray opened the scoring with a prodigious home run to left-center in the top of the second. The bomb was Murray's second long bacll of the season, his first since the opening series of the season at Fresno State.
Creighton added to its lead in the top of the third as junior Daniel Woodrow led off with a double to left-center, moved to third via a sacrifice by junior Nicky Lopez and scored on an RBI groundout by senior Reagan Fowler.
