Omaha, Neb. -- Due to existing snow drifts and extreme cold which has left the field of TD Ameritrade Park Omaha both covered in snow and frozen, Creighton Baseball has announced the cancellation of its home series with Purdue from March 8-10. The three-game set will not be made up, however the two teams intend to next season in West Lafayette, Indiana next season. In addition the two squads will explore the Boilermakers coming to Omaha in a future season.
The Bluejays are actively looking to add games in a warmer climate this weekend, but no official announcement can be made at this time.
