New York, N.Y. -- Following back-to-back 20+ point performances last week to earn her first BIG EAST Player of the Week award of the 2019-20 season, senior Jaylyn Agnew took things to a new level with a career-high 34-point effort to help the Creighton women's basketball team upset #23 West Virginia (82-75) and go 2-0 at the Cancun Challenge. Agnew's efforts earned her a second consecutive BIG EAST Player of the Week nod on Monday, Dec. 2nd.
After torching the Mountaineers for 34, Agnew faced intense defensive attention for much of the battle with Temple the following night, Agnew still delivered a 15-point showing in Creighton's 69-59 win over Temple.
