New York, N.Y. -- Creighton senior Jaylyn Agnew snagged her fifth BIG EAST Player of the Week nod after scoring a career-high 38 points in Creighton's 77-68 win at Providence on Saturday.
Agnew was 14-of-21 from the field and 7-of-11 from deep on Saturday, matching the BIG EAST single-game high for three-pointers in a game this season. She added four assists and two rebounds as the Bluejays improved to 7-5 on the year.
The 38-point total matches the highest output by a player in BIG EAST play since Louisville's Angel McCoughtry dropped 43 against the Friars on Jan.
