UNCASVILLE, Conn. -- The No. 21 ranked and second-seeded Creighton women's basketball team suffered a 55-46 loss to sixth-seeded Georgetown in the BIG EAST Tournament Semifinals on Sunday, March 10.
The loss dropped the Bluejays to 25-5 on the season, while Georgetown improved to 22-10 overall and advanced to their first BIG EAST Tournament Championship in program history.
Creighton will wait to hear its name called next Sunday when the NCAA Tournament field is announced.
