LINCOLN, Neb. – Baylor Scheierman scored a season-high 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, while Ryan Kalkbrenner added a 13 point, 12 rebound double-double as the No. 17 Creighton Men's Basketball team blew past Nebraska with a 89-60 victory at Pinnacle Bank Arena on Sunday afternoon.
With the win Creighton improved to 7-1 on the year, while Nebraska suffered their first loss of the season, falling to 7-1 overall. CU's 29-point victory is tied for the largest margin of victory over Nebraska, equaling the 47-18 margin of victory in 1932.
After scoring the first five points of the game, Nebraska surged out in front with a 10-2 run on six points from Keisei Tominaga to grab a 10-7 lead.
