MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -- Middle blockers and combined for 21 kills on 27 errorless swings as No. 14 Creighton swept High Point in a battle of conference champions at the Diet Coke Classic in Minneapolis, Minn. Scores of the Bluejay victory were 25-21, 25-12, 25-10.
Creighton is now 8-2 on the season while High Point dropped to 6-4. The Bluejays will face No. 9 Minnesota on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. in search of a fourth tournament title as many weeks. The Gophers defeated High Point in four sets on Thursday evening.
