FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- The No. 12 Creighton Volleyball team closed out its exhibition season with a 3-2 victory at Colorado State on Saturday afternoon at Moby Arena. The Bluejays won by scores of 25-23, 25-15, 25-15, 26-28, 10-15.
Even though Creighton won the first three sets, the teams had determined prior to the match that they'd play five sets to allow for maximum preparation for the start of the regular-season. Both coaches tinkered with their lineups throughout in an attempt to find winning combinations, as well as giving experience to the talented newcomers joining each program.
