OMAHA, Neb. -- With its vaunted three-point attack off the mark, the No. 12 Creighton men's basketball team pounded the ball inside in the second half and cruised to a 82-52 win over Loyola (Md.) on Saturday before 16,907 fans.
The victory improves Creighton to 6-0 on the season, while Loyola dropped to 2-4.
Justin Patton led Creighton with 17 points and six rebounds, making 8-of-8 shots from the floor. He led four Bluejays in double-figures.
Loyola (Md.) was led by 13 points from Jarred Jones, while Andre Walker contributed 12 points and five assists.
