OMAHA, Neb. -- A grand slam from Kyle Hess in the seventh inning highlighted Creighton Baseball's highest-scoring inning in a dozen years as a 10-run seventh inning propelled the Bluejays to a 14-2 win vs. Georgetown on Sunday, April 10.
Hess, who entered the day with six RBI in his first 23 games as a Bluejay, matched that total as part of a big day that also included a two-run double in the fourth inning.
Creighton (18-8, 3-0 BIG EAST) won for the 18th time in its last 22 games and Georgetown dropped to 19-13 overall (2-4 BIG EAST).
