Although Tulane’s football season has come to a close, the work seems to just be beginning in New Orleans. Willie Fritz and his staff had an eventful day on Wednesday, the first day of this year’s Early Signing Period, with the signing of 16 new recruits to the team. The team would add one more before the period ended on Friday. As seems to be tradition for the Wave, there is a healthy mix of home-grown talent intertwined with out-of-state newcomers.
Tulane appeared to be focused on bolstering several facets of the team, one being the defense that is set to lose two dynamic forces in the secondary in Roderic Teamer and Donnie Lewis.
