Now that I’m done being frustrated with the end of the game, it’s time to dissect what happened Saturday afternoon. UCF and Memphis gave us another thriller, and it came down to the wire before the Knights came away with the win.
Arguably the biggest takeaway from this was that UCF is beatable. Memphis had the Knights on the ropes going into halftime with a 30-17 lead, and apparently needed just one score to put the game away. It seemed like UCF wasn’t going to pull through for a while, as evidenced by some comments made on the sideline.
