AD Mario Moccia announced another future football series with the University of Akron today.
The first game will be played at Aggie Memorial Stadium September 12, 2020 with the follow up battle being at InfoCision Stadium on October 1, 2022.
Akron and NM State have met once before in football; all the way back in 1988 when Akron won 52-7 in Las Cruces.
The Aggies now have ten games scheduled for the 2020 season. I’m anticipating one of the final two games scheduled will be against an FCS school so I am eager to see who the final FBS opponent will be.
