Finally!
After almost two years without real, meaningful football for New Mexico State, the Aggies will take the field on Saturday, August 28th to take on their I-10 rival the, UTEP Miners, at Aggie Memorial Stadium.
This will be the first true home game for the Aggies in 21 months (played spring 2020 games in El Paso) when they also played UTEP on November 23, a 44-35 win. That win was the Aggies’ third straight against the Miners after losing eight straight from ‘09-’16.
Winning streaks won’t matter much in this game after a wild 2020 season that saw limited game time and lots of turnover for the Aggie defense.
