Let’s go back to last year
To begin 2017, Memphis was a popular choice to contend for the AAC title. UCF was not. That quickly changed when the Knights dominated the regular season matchup 40-13. The Tigers rebounded from that loss to make the AAC Championship Game for a rematch, and gave the Knights all they could. Many thought Memphis didn’t stand a chance in that matchup, but the Tigers proved their worth.
