SMU Quarterback Matt Davis no longer has to keep his bags packed.
His college career has been a nomadic one. After signing with Texas A&M out of high school, he played behind Johnny Manziel who became the first freshman Heisman trophy winner. Never to become a starter in College Station, Davis left Texas A&M to play JUCO football at Tyler Junior College. Davis had games where he was brilliant during his time in Tyler. He was named JUCO player of the week for his performance against Blinn college (2 TDs, 132 rushing yards, 151 passing yards).
