The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs announced Wednesday that the school has accepted a bid to the Hawaii Bowl in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The Hawaii Bowl is scheduled for Dec. 22 at 9:30 central time on ESPN. This is a departure from its usual spot on Christmas Eve.
The Bulldogs will be facing the hosting Hawaii Rainbow Warriors, an old rival from La Tech’s days in the WAC. Hawaii leads the series 8-2, and the Bulldogs have never won in Honolulu.
This marks the fifth straight season Louisiana Tech has reached a bowl game, something Tech had never done before.
