Georgia Southern no-showed the entire fourth quarter of its matchup against Army, falling by a 28-27 margin on Saturday.
After going up six-points on the Black Knights with 4:17 remaining in the third quarter, it looked as if the Eagles were on their way to holding off Army if the effort kept up.
Spoiler alert: It didn’t.
The GS defense eventually folded like a cheap suit for the rest of the contest, allowing Army at one point to run a 10-play, 81 yard drive for a touchdown and take 10:50 of the fourth quarter off the clock.
