In the first season under Lane Kiffin the FAU Owls went 11-3 winning their first conference title since 2007, their first bowl game since 2008, and posting the most wins in school history.
The 2017 football season is the best season in school history by a wide margin. With a majority of this year’s contributors scheduled to return in 2018, FAU will be picked by many to win Conference USA and might even garner some recognition as a candidate to represent the Group of 5 in the New Year’s Six. It’s crazy what a difference a year makes.
