Memphis’ offense continues its explosive ways, but they needed to do so Saturday night. South Alabama gave the Tigers defense all they could handle, but couldn’t keep pace with the Memphis offense.
Darrell Henderson had yet another big night, rushing 22 times for 188 yards and two touchdowns. That gives him 633 yards and seven touchdowns rushing in the last three games, and might as well give him All-Conference honors as well. Patrick Taylor Jr. pitched in 75 yards and two touchdowns of his own on the ground. Memphis also got a solid game from quarterback Brady White, who completed 22 of his 29 passes for 292 yards and two touchdowns.
