Senior linebacker, Andrew King, has proven to be a defensive anchor for the Black Knights. He is in consideration for the Lott IMPACT Trophy, an award that honors college football's best defensive player that excels on the field and as a leader within their university.
Army's Andrew King, along with 42 of the top defensive players in the nation, have been nominated for the Lott IMPACT Trophy award, named in honor of Ronnie Lott, a star cornerback with the USC Trojans, from 1977-1980. The purpose of the award is to recognize the personal character of a true player, one who excels on the football field, and contributes, in any form, to the betterment of their university.
