The Columbus Crew has made the first major move of the offseason, bringing in Ghaniana 24-year-old winger Yaw Yeboah from Wisu0142a Kraków of the Ekstraklasa, the top league in Poland. While the deal is yet to be officially announced by the club at this time, sources close to the situation confirmed the signing to Massive Report.
A separate source told Massive Report the transfer fee from the Crew to Wisla Kraków is expected to be between €1.3 million and €1.5 million, or roughly between $1.4 million and $1.7 million. Yeboah will make more than the league's maximum budget charge of $612,500 but the Black & Gold will use Targeted Allocation Money to help buy down his salary, thus not making the winger one of the club’s three Designated Players.
