For the second straight season, the Columbus Crew failed to make the MLS Cup playoffs after coming up just short on points. As an early offseason started, Crew general manager and president Tim Bezbatchenko began by making the difficult decision to part ways with former head coach Caleb Porter. Porter was the head coach for four seasons, missing the playoffs in 2019, 2021 and 2022 but achieved the ultimate prize, winning the MLS Cup, in 2020.
But before the Crew fanbase turns its full attention to next year, the team released its annual awards on Thursday.
