After Sunday’s postponement, due to two Columbus Crew staff members testing positive for COVID-19, the Black & Gold now look ahead to FC Cincinnati on Wednesday. As of publishing of this article, this next match is expected to be played as scheduled.
Columbus will travel to Nippert Stadium to face a team that is starving for offensive production, not having scored a goal in the past six matches. Most recently, Cincinnati lost 1-0 to Toronto FC on a 29th minute goal by former Columbus forward Patrick Mullins.
The Crew will be on the mends still, with the injury report showing Lucas Zelarayan, Eloy Room and Darlington Nagbe unavailable for Wednesday’s match.
