FOXBORO, Mass. — The Keystone Cops collision between Crew SC defenders Chad Barson and Waylon Francis was embarrassing.
The goal that resulted was infuriating.
Former Crew forward Kei Kamara iced a 3-1 win over Crew SC with a sitter in the 71st minute Saturday night in front of a jubilant Gillette Stadium crowd of 18,434, largely the result of one of several discombobulated sequences of defending.
The one that preceded the vigorous celebration of Kamara was wince-worthy. It included multiple players pausing in the penalty area to protest the lack of a diving call on Teal Bunbury.
