Pat Onstad, the Columbus Crew’s technical director, is expected to be named the general manager of the Houston Dynamo. This report is according to team legend and FOX Soccer commentator Stu Holden.
Onstad, a long time Major League Soccer goalkeeper, started in the league with the San Jose Earthquakes in 2003. He stayed with the team when they moved to Houston and became the Dynamo in 2006 through the 2010 season. Onstad earned two rings as a member of two MLS Cup-winning teams in Houston in 2007 and 2008.
