On Friday, Kamara was spotted in the parking lot outside the suburban facility where the Crew sometimes trains. The team had gathered there for physicals before departing for preseason camp in Lakewood Ranch, Fla. Kamara said he did not have time to talk. He climbed into his SUV and off he went.
Moments later, Crew coach and sporting director Gregg Berhalter said Kamara was being given time off “to get back to fitness.
