Crew striker Gyasi Zardes unsurprisingly was included on the MLS Team of the Week for Week 27 after his brace against CF Montreal on Saturday. He was also named the MLS Player of the Week. The American striker scored two nice goals for the Black & Gold in a 2-1 win with a header in the first half and a left-footed shot from outside the 18-yard boox in the second half.
These may not be the only awards for Zardes this week. The striker will certainly be in the running for Goal of the Week for his second-half long-range finish.
