Columbus Crew SC is trying to break a long three-game losing streak as the team ends a three-game-in-eight-day stretch with a trip to Houston to face off against the Dynamo. A 4-1-1 record has turned into 4-4-1 for the Black & Gold over the course of a bad April.
The Crew offense has sputtered over the losing streak, only scoring once and conceding five. Gyasi Zardes has gone four straight games without a goal, his longest such streak since joining Columbus. The rest of the attack, aside from Pedro Santos, is also struggling to take their chances.
