The Columbus Crew will be without two of the team’s most important players for Saturday’s MLS Cup Final against the Seattle Sounders. The Crew released its injury list on Thursday evening and, in addition to center back Vito Wormgoor, who is out for the year with an injury suffered at the MLS is Back Tournament in July, Darlington Nagbe and Pedro Santos are both not medically cleared to play, meaning they are out for the championship game.
Columbus announced earlier this week that one player had tested positive for COVID-19, while seven more returned to training.
