Just hours after the Columbus Crew traded goalkeeper Jon Kempin to D.C. United, the Black & Gold have officially added a new goalkeeper to the squad with the signing of Re-Entry Draft selection Eric Dick. Columbus selected Dick in the second-round of the Re-Entry Draft on Dec. 22 and has now signed him to the roster.
“We are pleased to welcome Eric to Columbus,” Crew president and general manager Tim Bezbatchenko. “After earning beneficial USL Championship experience over the last few years, we look forward to working with him to continue his development as a goalkeeper.
