Mohammed Saeid isn’t the type of player to draw attention to himself.
Whether he’s abstaining from food during daylight hours while celebrating the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, concealing a diamond on his tooth or capably filling in for any missing player in the Crew SC midfield, the native of Sweden has proven to be a steady contributor during his two years with the team.
That quiet demeanor also apparently extended to dealing with two broken bones in his back earlier this season.
“We got a scan and it said I had two broken bones, and I was like, ‘No wonder I’m feeling so much pain,’” Saeid said last week.
