From an outsider’s perspective, it’s been a relatively easy start for Caleb Porter in his first year in charge of Columbus Crew SC. The head coach has gotten the club off to a 3-1-1 run to the 2019 Major League Soccer season, which sees the Black & Gold tied for the top spot in the Eastern Conference. It’s early in the year, but those in Columbus are happy with how the team has kicked off its 24th season.
Through the first five games, Porter also hasn’t had to make too many difficult decisions when it comes to selecting his team.
