2016 MLS SuperDraft - Jack Harrison lands with NYCFC

New York City FC acquired Jack Harrison on Thursday after the Wake Forest midfielder was selected first in the MLS SuperDraft by the Chicago Fire.

After taking Harrison first, the Fire then traded with NYCFC to take Stanford defender Brandon Vincent with the fourth pick in exchange for Harrison and general allocation money and a player to be named later.

The England-born Harrison, a former member of Manchester United's academy, played high school soccer in Massachusetts before playing one year for Wake, where he was an all-American and ACC offensive player of the year.

Welcome to the Club, Jack Harrison!
