On February 27th, 2017 the Columbus Blue Jackets claimed center, Zac Dalpe, off of waivers. They immediately signed him to the Cleveland Monsters.
Dalpe made quite an impression on the Monsters. After one practice, Coach John Madden promoted Dalpe to the first line between Sonny Milano and Ryan Craig. He scored his first point as a Monster after Craig deflected his shot into the net. All night Dalpe created plays, muscled through traffic, and put himself in the right place at the right time.
What a welcome addition he is.
