Sean Kuraly signs with the Columbus Blue Jackets

The Columbus Blue Jackets have agreed to terms with center Sean Kuraly. The Dublin, OH native spent 5 seasons with the Boston Bruins where he put up 24 goals and 44 assists in 270 games. Kuraly likely replaces Riley Nash as the fourth line center where he’ll take on a defensive role that’ll include time on the penalty kill. The move is likely an effort to stabilize that position and allow younger players to remain in Cleveland or take on more offensive roles in Columbus.

Sean Kuraly is a product of the Ohio Blue Jackets AAA organization and now joins fellow alumni Jack Roslovic in Columbus.
