According to reports, the Columbus Blue Jackets have signed Anthony Duclair to a one year deal.
The Laval, Quebec native was drafted 80th overall by the New York Rangers in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. However, Duclair did not sign a contract with the Rangers until January 2, 2014.
Between his 50 goal season with the Quebec City Remparts, an outstanding 2014-15 preseason run with the Rangers, and a few key Rangers injuries, Duclair earned himself a spot on the Ranger’s opening night roster for the 2014-15 season. Once everyone was healthy, Duclair was sent back to the Remparts.
