The Columbus Blue Jackets traveled east to take on the Philadelphia Flyers to try to break a two game skid. Here’s what went down.
First Period
Philadelphia was first one the board as the Blue Jackets were caught up in the offensive zone and Zach Werenski was forced to defend a 3 on 1 rush. Shortly after Claude Giroux’s opener, Seth Jones equalized the game and a Brandon Dubinsky tip gave the Jackets the lead. A Philadelphia goal was overturned for offsides and Sergei Bobrovsky withstood a flurry to give the Jackets a 2-1 lead at the first intermission.
