The result of this game may not have mattered, but it’s still not fun watching the Penguins score. The Jackets got off to a great start by going up 2-0, but it was all Pittsburgh the rest of the way. This game ended up being what many of us wanted Thursday’s game to look like.

Playing in his seventh preseason game, Pyyhtia kicked off the scoring early in the game. On a zone entry, Malatesa sent a beautiful pass to a streaking Pyyhtia, who finished a nice move through the five-hole of Blomqvist.
Svozil got credited with the second assist on a simple and likely unappreciated play.
