Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Citizen: Ottawa Senators assistant GM Randy Lee resigned yesterday as “he awaits the outcome of court proceedings on two non-criminal harassment charges filed against him” from an incident in Buffalo late last season.
He’s been suspended by the team since mid-June and has pleaded not guilty to both charges.
Lee has been with the organization since 1993 and has been an assistant GM since 2014.
