After almost a year of anticipation, the Cleveland Monsters released their schedule for the 2020-21 season.
The Monsters will play a dramatically smaller number of games, 28, starting with an away game against the Rockford IceHogs on Friday, February 5th, 2021. Due to the State of Ohio approving an attendance variance request of 10%, fourteen Monsters games will take place at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in front of a little under 2,000 people.
Only four of the five teams in the Central Division (Grand Rapids, Texas, Rockford, and Chicago) will square up against the Monsters this season. There are no games slated against the Iowa Wild.
