Record: 2-2-1-0, 5 points, .500 win percentage, 5th Central, 11th West

The Cleveland Monsters played the San Jose Barracuda for the first time in franchise history this weekend. This was also the first time Roy Sommer coached in Cleveland since the Barons moved to San Jose.

The Monsters took home three of four possible points.

Tyler Motte scored three points in the Monsters 4-1 win over the Barracuda on Saturday. Alex Broadhurst literally sacrificed his body to stop a play during this game.

Sunday wasn't as kind to the Monsters.
