Any news on our alternates this season?
I assume you mean one of two things: either the alternate captains, or the alternate jerseys.

First, on the alternate captain front: the Blue Jackets are expected to have multiple alternate captains that will be announced at some point during training camp. I'm not yet sure whether there will be a set group of alternates or whether there will be 'home' and 'away' captains, but we'll find out soon enough because (gasp!
