Lukas Sedlak Leaves Blue Jackets for KHL Deal

Per Aaron Portzline of the Athletic, Sedlak has elected to sign a two year contract with Traktor Chelyabinsk of the KHL.

Sedlak’s entry level contract expired and was set to become a restricted free agent on July 1. He played just 47 games for Columbus in 2018-19, frequently healthy scratched. He posted just 4-2-6 in games, playing just 9:00 per night.

In his career with Columbus, Sedlak played 162 games for Columbus. He registered 15-12-27 with 56 PIM. He averaged 9:24 per night, and a CF% of 50.8%.
