Goalie mask designs are one of hockey's most captivating art forms.
The players have significant input, but at the end of the day, they put their trust in talented designers to bring their vision to life. The mask design process allows goaltenders to display some of their personality in the design, and it lives throughout the NHL season in vivid color on one of their most important pieces of equipment.
Joonas Korpisalo recently worked with Sylvie Marsolais of SylaBrush to design his new mask for the 2016-17 season, and it's a thing of beauty.
