The Columbus Blue Jackets traded defenseman, John Ramage, to the Arizona Coyotes for future considerations.
Ramage has been an integral part of the Cleveland Monsters for the past two and a half seasons. In 170 games with the Monsters, Ramage tallied 14 goals and 47 assists.
He was Alternate Captain last season and wore the “A” on occasion this season.
The move opens up over $600k in cap space. It also clears a contract spot up. Before trading Ramage, the Jackets were getting close to the contract limit of 50.
