The Blue Jackets hit a brick wall during the 2nd Period in Ottawa tonight. After a hard played first 30 minutes of hockey Ottawa broke through and scored 2 in the 2nd period. You could attribute it to some unlucky bounces for the Jackets, but it probably had more to do with Ottawa leading shots in shots for entire game.
The Jackets were just brought back to reality. It looks like Ottawa was just able to out hustle the Jackets create better scoring opportunities. The CBJ will need to get things together for their game versus the Predators Friday night if they hope to turn this season around.
