Big news today, as my pregame prediction was correct that Brandon Dubinsky would be activated. He will center the fourth line, between Riley Nash and Markus Hannikainen.
This means that Lukas Sedlak is scratched, and Sonny Milano has been assigned to the Cleveland Monsters. This is obviously frustrating for those who want to see Milano get a bigger chance, but Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers has a good argument for why this move makes sense. Basically, better to play top six minutes in Cleveland than try to fill a fourth line role with Columbus.
